Hi,
I have a client who is trying to access a data web site generated by RTMCPro and the CSI web sever but they are using the Squid proxy software. They are unable to load the page, they get the page title but the javascript files don't fully load (they seem to partially load) as well any images only partially load. If I move the javascript files (for example in the generated index.html file change the reference to jquery.js to the same file on the jquery web site) it loads the file Ok but when I try and get it to load the one off the CSI web server it only loads part of the file.
Any ideas or work arounds?? This is a key client and I am keen for them to be able to access the site.
Thanks,
Scott.
We have been looking into this problem, but are having a hard time reproducing what you are seeing. We have a couple of ideas on what might be going on, but will need you to try out an updated CSI Web Server that implements some added HTTP features and has enhanced logging. Will you please email me at tmecham [at] campbellsci (dot) com so we can set you up with a web server beta to test? Thanks!
Hi,
We are experiencing a similar issue at our site. Our CSI web server is published through a relatively basic firewall, and it works fine for most clients. However, we are unable to pull it up from our local network through our websense proxy. I would also be interested to try out a patched version of the web server for testing.
Thanks,
Jared
Jared,
What version of the CSI Web Server are you running? If it is not 1.4.2, I recommend downloading the patch from https://www.campbellsci.com/downloads?c=9999&d=299 . It might already have the solution you are looking for.
Thanks Gary. Sure enough we're on version 1.04.20.09. I went ahead and downloaded the patch, but when I try to run it, it says it can't find an existing version and it won't install.
1.04.20.09 is the latest version of csiwebadmin.exe so you are current.
