LoggerNet->RS232->Logger1 -> RF401 -> Logger2

Configuration:

PC connect to Logger1 via RS232.

Logger1 with RF401 to communicate wtih Logger2 with RF401 to retrive data from logger2.

Question:

Is it possible to connect LoggerNet software on PC to Logger2, then use the function such as upload program?

The key is Logger1 needs the IsRouter setting set to true.

It works.

I understand that router logger will consume more power. Is there anyother side effect?

The power usage of the RF401 radios is pretty small. 

We use this configuration very often.
