Campbell Scientific are hosting a One Day Workshop at our office in Shepshed, UK, on the 25th February 2025. The event will run from 09:00 through to 17:00. Spaces are limited so we are encouraging potential participants to reserve their space sooner than later.
The workshop is currently being charged at a fee and pricing information can be provided by our sales team. Included within this fee is attendance at the workshop, lunch and a copy of a book written by Brent Randall (Product Manager at Campbell Scientific in the US) which delves into field monitoring of automated instrumentation and methods of achieving field measurements via Campbell Scientific solutions.
The workshop agenda will be as follows (subject to change as the program is finalized):

09:00 – 10:00: Introduction and Sensors overview – 1 hours
10:00 – 10:45: Shortcut and Surveyor Overview – 45 minutes
10:45 – 11:45: CR6 Thermocouple Exercise – 1 hour
11:45 – 12:00: 15 minutes for overrun and questions
12:00 – Lunch (45 minutes),
12:45 – 13:30: VSPECT Descriptor and Use Cases – 45 minutes
13:30 – 14:15: VW Analyzer exercise – 45 minutes
14:15 – 15:15: CR6 Vibrating Wire Exercise – 30 minutes
15:15 – 15:45: Communications Overview (including digital outputs) – 30 minutes
15:45 – 16:15: Communicating with RS-485 instruments – 30 minutes
16:15: Final comments, questions and opportunity for a factory/site tour
End: 16:30-17:00
Data loggers and instruments will be for practical exercises will be available on the day. We would advise bringing your own laptop with LoggerNet installed (a free 30 day trial version can be downloaded from our website via this link) if possible. If this is not possible, we provide computers with LoggerNet for use on the day.
